Nick Jr. Live! Experience

Who’s got kids out there who are big Nick Jr. fans? This is an important question because today I’m talking about our Nick Jr. Live! experience. So if your kiddos love all things Nick, stick around!

We had the opportunity to take the family to the Nick Jr. Live! show in Los Angeles over the weekend and let’s just say it didn’t disappoint. You can think of this show as a mini concert for kids. I can tell you first hand that my kids danced and sang the entire hour in a half.

Paw Patrol. Dora the Explorer. Bubble Guppies. Shimmer & Shine. Top Wings.

If your kids watch these shows then I’m sure you know all the theme songs. Or maybe I’m just weird because I know every single one. And there were select characters from each of these shows and for every show, they had a special skit which included a song and lots and lots of dancing. I think my favorite part of each song was seeing how well they were able to get an audience full of children involved with singing, clapping and dancing.

I mentioned earlier Nick Jr. Live! felt more like a kid concert which I absolutely loved. My kids had never been to a show like this before (where they were expected to sit still for this length of time) and I was extremely surprised as to how well behaved they were. This show did an excellent job at keeping kids completely entertained. The show ran about an hour in a half with a short intermission which was great for getting snacks and potty time. Even though I had packed a plethora of snacks, they saw the concession stand and merchandise stand before we headed in the theater and it was game over- we had to check it out during intermission!

The show itself was pretty amazing.

If I was a kid watching this show, there would have been two emotions. Utter shock from all the excitement and complete and utter enthusiasm from all the awesomeness. But to be fair, this is exactly the two expressions my children had throughout the show. It was either one or other. None stop fun from the very beginning to the very end!

At the very end of the show, we had access to the VIP lounge which was super fun for the kiddos.

They were actually upset when we had to leave (what’s an outing without a tantrum, right). The staff walked us back behind stage, which I must say, was pretty cool. I felt like I was Ariana Grande walking off behind stage. We were then able to hang out in the VIP lounge which had cool photo opps, games, and toys for the kids to play with. They were even able to meet Dora the Explorer and Rubble from Paw Patrol. They were also gifted a Nick Jr. Live! goodie bags.

Overall, Nick Jr. Live! was completely different from what I expected (because I had no idea what to expect) but in a good way. The experience itself was fun and so incredibly interactive for the kids. I know this is an experience they will cherish for a long time. Especially since they keep asking to go back because they want to meet Rubble and Dora again!

If you’re in the California area, there’s two more chances for your to experience all of the fun we had at the Nick Jr. Live! Check out their upcoming Riverside and Sacaramento shows here!

Aww sounds like so much fun. And no you are not alone, I know all the songs myself too and my daughter is still only 2 so I can only imagine the load of kid songs that are always in your brain with 3 little ones! I can’t wait to be able to take my daughter to something like this. She loves singing and dancing so I’m sure she would love it too.
